Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare basic well design, technical requirements, and operational plans to meet Baker Hughes and customer technical and financial goals.
  • •Ensure engineering activities align with HSE policies and drive safe work practices throughout execution.
  • •Support tender bid preparation and participate in customer presentations and meetings (may include travel).
  • •Prepare well design, well plan, and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention, and/or abandonment, including third-party technical requirements and estimates.
  • •Develop risk registers and contingency plans, conduct peer reviews, monitor daily progress and operational expenditure, and produce technical reports (e.g., End of Well Report, lessons learned).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with MS in Petroleum/Oil & Gas or Well Engineering.
  • •5+ years of relevant experience in well construction, completions, intervention, and/or optimization (e.g., drilling components, BHA design, engineering simulations, or field operations).
  • •Interpersonal skills to collaborate across businesses and cultures and influence senior leaders effectively.
  • •Excellent analytics and problem-solving, including forming hypotheses and progressing with incomplete information.
  • •Excellent English oral and written communication skills, plus proficiency with MS Office suite, Power BI, and well engineering/design software.
