Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop CNC machine programs using CAD/CAM software (Tebis, Mastercam, or equivalent) and generate optimized toolpaths for milling, drilling, boring, and finishing.
  • •Create machining strategies for die inserts, punch blocks, trim steels, and die components; perform machining simulations and validate programs prior to production release.
  • •Support new die manufacturing and die modification activities, including programming and machining replacement die components during maintenance and engineering changes.
  • •Analyze machining performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cutting parameters, tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and cycle times while maintaining quality targets.
  • •Ensure quality and compliance by validating components against drawing and GD&T requirements, coordinating with Metrology for dimensional checks, maintaining machining documentation, and following safety/quality management procedures.

  • •2-5 years of experience in stamping die manufacturing, die repair, or precision machining environments.
  • •Hands-on CAD/CAM experience for CNC programming and toolpath generation using Tebis and Mastercam.
  • •Strong knowledge of 5-axis CNC machining processes, machining strategies, and process optimization.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
