Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate and install pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using materials such as copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
  • •Cut, bend, and weld pipes and install pipework using a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • •Install utilities aboard ship including sinks, showers, and toilets.
  • •Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to drawings and specifications.
  • •Maintain accurate records of work and adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 40,016

Key Requirements

  • •Provide a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers when applying (e.g., SVQ3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • •Experience in pipe manufacture and installation using the tools and equipment needed on major projects.
  • •Solid knowledge of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
  • •Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • •Understand and apply SHE, COSHH, and risk-assessment requirements consistently on the job.
