Job Summary

A mid–senior level Power System Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and qualifying multi-kW AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies. You’ll work with OEM suppliers, perform lab characterization, design dual‑grid and redundant power systems, and lead projects from concept to production while coordinating with vendor teams and ensuring regulatory compliance across international standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, develop, source, and qualify OEM power supplies to meet product and market requirements as part of the project team.
•Spend time hands-on in the lab characterizing new power supplies.
•Design and support dual grid and redundant AC or DC power systems.
•Apply strong analog and power circuit design knowledge to system qualification.
•Write clear and effective technical reports and communicate technical issues to a broad range of audiences including power teams, software engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•MS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
•Experience with regulatory processes for designing and certifying power supplies in commercial electronics.
•Excellent knowledge of AC-DC & DC-DC design issues, system-level power distribution, and industry best practices.
•Experience sourcing power supplies ranging from 100 Watts to 3000 Watts, supporting both AC and DC input power.
•Understanding of design challenges in large modular systems delivering total power up to ~30 kW.
