Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) per EPA and Army guidelines.
  • •Provide safety orientations and recurring training, including PPE usage, forklift/equipment operation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and incident reporting.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; maintain incident logs and OSHA reporting documentation.
  • •Perform safety audits and job hazard analyses (JHAs), track safety KPIs, and support government inspections and safety inquiries.

Salary: 64,526 - 109,710

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of safety experience on government, military, or industrial logistics sites.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices.
  • •Experience supporting military logistics, equipment turn-in, retrograde, or base closure operations is highly preferred.
  • •Excellent communication, documentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • •Must have a valid driver's license and a Real ID.
