Key Responsibilities

  • •Adapt baseline master control software and Control & Monitoring laws for different real and simulated R&T prototype System Under Test configurations.
  • •Drive control Verification & Validation from virtual simulation environments to real-time HIL test setups, including development and integration of adaptation models and interface layers.
  • •Host and integrate Airbus engineering real-time simulation platforms, capture live output data vectors, and use them to steer industrial test means equipment.
  • •Design automated multi-layer safety protocols, hardware interlocks, and emergency shutdown strategies to ensure system, bench, facility, environmental integrity, and human safety.
  • •Support risk analysis and contribute to human and operational safety documentation, helping define operational procedures and safety compliance protocols for the facility.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of hands-on control systems engineering experience, including control software adaptation, real-time simulation, and HIL integration in aerospace, automotive, or industrial electrical power testing environments.
  • •Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Automation/Control, Electrical, Systems, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
  • •Strong proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, NI LabVIEW, and NI VERISTAND, including control & monitoring law tuning, state-space modeling, and real-time code generation.
  • •Practical experience designing multi-layer Emergency Shutdown Strategies informed by HARA/HAZOPS analysis while ensuring facility/system integrity.
  • •Good understanding of high-voltage electrical systems (batteries, converters, EPDS) plus industrial fieldbuses and control signals.
