Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with the upfront marketing engineer to define new product needs.
  • •Develop innovative design concepts and perform and document engineering design calculations and analysis using computer-aided tools.
  • •Create product technical specifications, technical assessment plans, and test plans; build and review design documentation and procedures, including checking and approving design drawings.
  • •Collaborate with the CAD team on detailed 2D/3D drawings and with suppliers to produce engineering prototypes.
  • •Coordinate design verification and implementation into production with manufacturing, quality, operations, and global product engineering teams, supporting product launch and lifecycle development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Familiarity with MS Office and computer-aided design; working knowledge of SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
  • •Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • •Good communication, strategically thinking, decision making, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving with engineering common sense.
  • •Preferred experience with design working in valves/process control or similar industries, plus mechanical design/product or program knowledge of control valves.
