Key Responsibilities

  • •Efficiently and accurately perform teller functions and represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner.
  • •Receive and process deposits and loan payments; cash checks and other negotiable instruments.
  • •Process transfers and operate an online teller terminal; examine documents for endorsements and negotiability.
  • •Sell traveler's checks, official checks, and money orders; process credit card cash advances.
  • •Verify, balance, and reconcile cash daily; detect and resolve discrepancies promptly; follow compliance requirements and maintain secure, clean work areas.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Understanding of bank operations (preferred) and completion of required training/webinars in a 90-day plan.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred; previous teller experience preferred.
  • •Good communication, professional appearance/dress/attitude, and good math skills.
  • •Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (e.g., adding machine, copy machine, coin/money counting machines, telephone).
