Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and operate search indexes at massive scale, designing and maintaining the indexing infrastructure for billions of documents
  • •Own the full stack from ingestion to serving, including ingestion, processing, indexing, ranking, query understanding, and serving
  • •Develop and refine ranking, relevance scoring, and query understanding to surface the right content for queries
  • •Address freshness and dedup, enabling incremental indexing without full rebuilds
  • •Run experiments and ship production-ready results with minimal supervision

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years building search/IR systems at scale
