Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow document control and QA processes to ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are issued and filed/archived appropriately.
  • •Perform detailed structural design per client requirements and relevant American standard codes, including complex calculations and technical reviews/sign-off coordination.
  • •Organize and supervise technical calculations to industry standards, ensuring delegated work meets deadlines and reporting issues, risks, or client changes.
  • •Prepare elemental work for project budget costing delegated by senior team members within deadlines and standards.
  • •Determine appropriate software for computer-aided design, construct models, and conduct analysis and manual checks; handle day-to-day queries from the WSP USA team.

Key Requirements

  • •4 to 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, ideally in RCC and post-tensioned structures.
  • •B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • •Preferably M.Tech. in Structural Engineering.
  • •Good understanding of American codes of practice and US construction methodology.
  • •Candidate has obtained or initiated the process toward Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or British Chartered Engineer status) in an applicable region.
