Job Summary

Serve consumer and business customers in a branch environment by retaining and growing relationships. Identify customers’ financial goals and needs, then recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products. Use pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, disciplined sales processes, and referrals to generate opportunities. Educate customers on banking technology (online, mobile, and ATM) and deepen internal partnerships while following all operational, risk, security, and regulatory policies.

•Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.
•Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships via pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up, and referrals.
•Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
•Educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology, including online, mobile, and ATM banking.
•Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies and adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, business-to-business sales, or relevant military service.
•Subject to additional background check requirements, including providing fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
•Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales (preferred).
•Ability to build, deepen, and retain customer relationships (preferred).
•Demonstrated acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, customer service, and presentation skills (preferred).
