Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision and machine learning focused on generative AI (image, video, or 3D generation).
  • •Participate in post-training of seed multimodal models and LLMs using SFT/RL.
  • •Work on unified modeling for image and video generation to improve model performance and iterate on large-scale training.
  • •Apply agent technology and architecture to optimize tool-calling and long-horizon task capabilities, and research agentic RL.
  • •Transfer advanced technologies to TikTok and other products and explore AI-first new product ideas.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • •Strong algorithms and programming skills with strong coding in Python/C++.
  • •Experience with multimodal generation (e.g., text-to-image/video/3D) and editing.
  • •Experience with diffusion models/GANs/transformers and large-scale training, RLHF, and generative AI.
