Commis Chef

Prepare food in a designated kitchen section while working closely with the senior cook. Assist with daily kitchen operations including collecting ingredients from stores and the butchery, preparing mise-en-place, and following hygiene and sanitation procedures. Attend training, keep records of new recipes and cooking procedures, maintain kitchen equipment, control food waste to meet food cost targets, and support health, safety, and fire life safety requirements.
