Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute daily voyage post-fixture activities and coordinate voyage closure with minimal risk.
  • •Perform laytime calculation and negotiate laytime settlement basis for charter party contracts; manage disputes with Operations and legal guidance.
  • •Conduct independent sanction reviews of nominated vessels and ensure accurate system data and documentation.
  • •Manage contract and professional administration: maintain daily contract logs, coordinate weekly active charter listings, and provide reporting on contract status and customer performance.
  • •Check and negotiate freight differential, ensure correct final freight rate updates, and verify freight invoice issuance after laytime and differential are concluded.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge and experience with key shipping terms and contract clauses.
  • •Dry bulk post-fixture experience.
  • •Legislation requirements knowledge (ISM, ISPS, IMO).
  • •Good knowledge of major ports and local practices on major trading routes.
  • •Contract administration and governance/controls around commercial approvals.
