Lead environmental planning and permitting for electric transmission, grid modernization, and renewable energy projects across Texas and other U.S. markets. Serve as a seller-doer by building client relationships, leading pursuits, and helping expand the team’s energy permitting portfolio while mentoring personnel.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead environmental planning and compliance efforts, including preparation of NEPA documentation and coordination with state utility regulatory agencies (including PUCT) to support transmission siting, routing, and permitting approvals.
•Manage early-stage due diligence for siting energy projects and associated infrastructure.
•Provide project management on mid- to large-sized projects, including schedules, budgets, invoicing, and coordination with clients, technical staff, and subconsultants.
•Develop environmental documents and entitlements for high-profile infrastructure projects, with a focus on energy sector work.
•Serve as a seller-doer: build and maintain client relationships, lead pursuits and project teams, support proposal development and cost estimates, and expand the regional energy permitting portfolio.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or a related field.
•6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) supporting electric transmission and renewable energy permitting/NEPA work, routing and siting analysis, land use entitlement applications, and/or leading multi-disciplinary technical teams.
•Ability to travel for agency/client meetings as needed.
•Valid U.S. Driver's license is required.
•U.S. Citizenship is required.
