Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, film, produce, and edit a consistent pipeline of short-form social content and longer-form web/app content aligned to commercial and customer priorities.
  • •Collaborate with central creative/production and social media teams to maintain brand consistency and strategic alignment.
  • •Implement best practices for in-store recording, including lighting and sound techniques optimized for retail environments.
  • •Drive community and partner integration by facilitating local social collaborations with creators, regional businesses, schools, and internal Partners.
  • •Lead store pilots, gather feedback, and build a scalable rollout framework for wider adoption.

Salary: GBP 36,000 - 56,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive background producing film, AV and/or social content.
  • •Comprehensive technical knowledge of film/AV equipment, digital cameras, mobile audio recording gear, and compact lighting setups for retail spaces.
  • •Strong understanding of social media channels and ability to execute ideas that work for relevant platforms.
  • •Clear understanding of the John Lewis brand identity, heritage, and values, translating business initiatives into consumer stories.
  • •Ability to create both stills and AV and effective digital/still content (desirable).
