Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively participate in the plant Sika SAFE Program and ensure safety policies are followed.
  • •Receive inbound materials and transfers, including raw materials and finished product; verify with documents and inspect for damage.
  • •Pick, assemble, select, pack, and wrap finished product for shipment; match materials against bills of lading and report discrepancies.
  • •Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move materials between departments and buildings.
  • •Perform cycle counts and other inventory verification; guide, assist, and train new and temporary employees.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 6 months safe forklift operation.
  • •Ability to follow plant safety policies and maintain high standards of industrial housekeeping.
  • •Experience overseeing packaging equipment and preparing orders for shipment according to process/specifications and customer requests.
  • •Demonstrated ability to use a computer and programs including SAP and Microsoft programs.
