Job Summary

Support environmental and engineering site assessment and remediation projects within WSP’s Site Assessment and Remediation business unit. Conduct field work including drilling, geologic logging, well installation, sampling, and hydrogeologic testing, while maintaining quality control and safety procedures. Prepare clear documentation and data visualizations using electronic systems. Use current sampling and field analysis techniques, complete required training, and travel for project needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Support environmental and engineering projects from conceptual site model development through remediation and risk management strategies.
•Perform field exercises including drilling, geologic logging, well installation, sampling, and hydrogeologic testing.
•Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements.
•Create complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and field/work site notebooks.
•Prepare data and visualizations (tables, charts, reports, models, cross-sections, boring logs, and figures) and follow safety guidelines and site procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related discipline.
•0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
•On track to obtain professional licensure (GIT and/or PG).
•Willingness to travel for field work as dictated by project demands (could be as much as 75%).
•Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain field testing and monitoring equipment (with support and training).
