Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and monitor instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant and compressor facility operations.
  • •Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs for measurement systems (temperature, pressure, flow, level), valves, control elements, and related equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot control systems using P&IDs and loop diagrams, and ensure instrumentation/control/automation systems are calibrated and functioning properly.
  • •Manage critical spare parts inventory and keep accurate I&E maintenance and service records, including completion of inspections/checklists/PMs.
  • •Participate in process safety and safety/environmental training, respond to on-call schedule and emergency callouts, and coordinate with operators, supervision, vendors, and contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years of experience with instrumentation and electrical components related to amine plant/compressor station operations and gas measurement/Burner Management Systems.
  • •Must be able to pass an Operation Qualification test after training if necessary.
  • •General knowledge of 4–20 mA control and associated transmitters, with familiarity working with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC and HMI platforms.
  • •Working knowledge of SLC 500, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix control systems, plus PanelView HMIs and FactoryTalk View Studio.
  • •Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and ability to clear a drug screen and background check after an offer is extended.
