Job Summary

Maintain and improve facility building systems that keep 1X’s operations safe, reliable, and ready to scale. Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response. Diagnose and resolve facility issues before they impact productivity, manufacturing, or site safety. Partner with vendors, contractors, EHS, and internal stakeholders to support facility projects, repairs, and operational improvements across site environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain high facility uptime through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response to infrastructure issues.
•Support reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems across the site.
•Identify, diagnose, and resolve facility issues before they impact employee productivity, manufacturing operations, or site safety.
•Ensure facility infrastructure is organized, compliant, and operationally ready through preventative maintenance and inspection programs.
•Partner with vendors, contractors, EHS, and internal stakeholders to support facility projects, repairs, and operational improvements.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience supporting facilities operations, building maintenance, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, or related infrastructure environments.
•Hands-on experience supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or other building systems.
•Ability to safely use tools, ladders, lifts, and maintenance equipment while performing facility work.
•Strong troubleshooting skills to independently diagnose and resolve facility-related issues.
•Ability to lift and move materials, equipment, and supplies as required for facility operations.
