Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver robust embedded processing solutions for communications and networking with a cross-functional engineering team.
  • •Lead and optimize the FPGA firmware development lifecycle from algorithms and requirements through architecture, design, development, testing, integration, support, and sustainment.
  • •Create and improve product development workflows and best practices across the HDL firmware lifecycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, and system testing).
  • •Develop microprocessor ICDs between FPGA and message/data handling schemes.
  • •Support system testing and validation for low-cost FPGAs/SoCs/SoMs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • •10+ years designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based systems using VHDL or Verilog.
  • •Experience translating MATLAB/Simulink algorithms into FPGA implementations using code generators.
  • •Proficient in C and C++, including familiarity with RTOS and embedded systems development from concept to production.
  • •Experience with common hardware interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB) and EE testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
