Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement margin calculation rules into SS&C Syncova for Prime Services Swap Desk.
  • •Build margin calculators for multiple regions and product types on the Swaps platform.
  • •Provide day-to-day support for ingestion of feeds (account hierarchy, security master, EOD pricing, holdings, and market data) into Syncova.
  • •Extract data from Syncova into a data warehouse to distribute to clients, fund administrators, and downstream applications.
  • •Create reports in Crystal Reports (or similar) and collaborate directly with Swaps, Operations, and middle office.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of programming experience, with strong Java and JDBC experience.
  • •Proficiency with SQL, including coding business logic using SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • •Experience with Linux and Shell scripting for day-to-day development and production support.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial industry, with solid understanding of US equity market structures.
  • •Experience with Agile development, unit/system testing, and performance tuning.
