Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain ownership of production test activities and the production test flow, including hands-on troubleshooting of complex electrical issues.
  • •Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkouts and acceptance testing to key component in-process validation.
  • •Improve and sustain test systems by increasing automation, consistency, total cycle time, and test coverage; determine root cause and recommend RCCA.
  • •Create test work instructions for technician teams in MES, train technicians on equipment use, and develop a failure-mode library with troubleshooting guides/diagrams.
  • •Analyze test data, document and report results, support customer returns and failure analysis with Design/Quality/Manufacturing Engineering, and provide feedback for early-stage test design and NPI.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, or 10+ years of advanced knowledge via work experience/intellectual instruction.
  • •8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
  • •Safety protocols experience for high-voltage systems (208V 3-phase, 480V).
  • •Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW and/or MATLAB for data parsing and visualization, plus experience with electronics test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, data acquisition).
  • •Strong root-cause analysis skills for non-conforming hardware and familiarity with PLM, MES, and TES.
