Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and direct crew activities, using established systems and processes to achieve assigned objectives.
  • •Ensure safety, production quality, cost-efficient management of consumables and supplies, and shift production aligned with weekly schedules.
  • •Train, coach, and develop people in their roles, optimizing the utilization of mobile equipment.
  • •Maintain discipline when necessary in accordance with the CBA for unionized employees.
  • •Read and interpret mine plans, mining sequences, construction prints, and mine engineering schedules to plan targets, schedule resources, and recommend corrective actions based on monitoring conditions.
