Job Summary

Own logistics commodity strategy for Asia, including transportation, warehousing, brokerage, and reverse logistics. Lead sourcing and contract management, run RFx and sourcing events, and build should-cost models. Manage suppliers and standardized SLA/performance reporting, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional, global teams. Partner with global rate structures and bid analytics while assessing supply capacity risk and recommending mitigations to protect a world-class supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute logistics commodity and supplier strategy for Asia and maintain industry awareness.
•Own sourcing process and contract management, including RFx planning, sourcing events, and should-cost model development.
•Perform cost and quality improvement projects to improve margin and performance and execute tactical procurement (spot buy).
•Manage contracts/rates optimization and global rate structures, bid analytics, and supplier capability assessments.
•Standardize supplier measurement of SLAs, track performance, identify deficiencies/non-conformance, and drive continuous supplier improvement.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of progressive experience in evaluating and managing suppliers with strong logistics/supply chain industry experience, via operational responsibility, consulting, or sourcing.
•Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and brokerage supply chain operations.
•Experience delivering results in a global organization with knowledge of commodity management, procurement, materials management, and contracting.
•Strong commercial negotiation, project management, and leadership skills, with demonstrated problem-solving, change management, and stakeholder management.
•Fluency in Mandarin and English; BA/BS in business, engineering, logistics, supply chain or related field (MBA preferred).
