Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute logistics commodity and supplier strategy for Asia and maintain industry awareness.
  • •Own sourcing process and contract management, including RFx planning, sourcing events, and should-cost model development.
  • •Perform cost and quality improvement projects to improve margin and performance and execute tactical procurement (spot buy).
  • •Manage contracts/rates optimization and global rate structures, bid analytics, and supplier capability assessments.
  • •Standardize supplier measurement of SLAs, track performance, identify deficiencies/non-conformance, and drive continuous supplier improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8 years of progressive experience in evaluating and managing suppliers with strong logistics/supply chain industry experience, via operational responsibility, consulting, or sourcing.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and brokerage supply chain operations.
  • •Experience delivering results in a global organization with knowledge of commodity management, procurement, materials management, and contracting.
  • •Strong commercial negotiation, project management, and leadership skills, with demonstrated problem-solving, change management, and stakeholder management.
  • •Fluency in Mandarin and English; BA/BS in business, engineering, logistics, supply chain or related field (MBA preferred).
