Job Summary

Train to become a Custom Applicator by applying fertilizer and crop protection products while learning grain, agronomy, and feed operations. Help with product delivery, customer support, and education on field products and techniques. Assist sales by ensuring orders are correct, perform warehouse work with equipment, maintain vehicles and complete daily inspections, and follow all safety and compliance requirements while earning a CDL and pesticide applicator license.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply fertilizer and crop protection products as directed, using equipment such as high clearance sprayers or floaters.
•Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed, and work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
•Educate customers on products applied to fields, techniques utilized, and ongoing support services.
•Assist sales staff with correct orders and patron needs, and help perform warehouse work including driving a loader and forklift.
•Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, complete pre-trip/post-trip reporting, maintain cleanliness, and perform and document daily equipment maintenance inspections.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of agriculture production, operations, and/or agriculture application.
•Meet minimum age requirements.
•Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
•Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
•Ability to work additional hours and be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends.
