Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Engineer with hands-on expertise in Utilities to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvement programs for refinery utilities. The role provides remote and on-site technical advisory support to the Operation Engineering Solutions Department within Global Manufacturing, focusing on KPI reviews, benchmarking, and implementing cost-effective improvements across Saudi Arabia and global affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct regular performance reviews of existing Utilities through KPIs representing operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety.
•Develop and present quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvement recommendations.
•Provide hands-on support in implementing performance improvement initiatives, delivering measurable results and closing gaps from benchmarking analyses.
•Lead benchmarking and best practices exchanges among Global Manufacturing facilities and affiliates, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
•Deliver on-demand remote and field technical advisory support, including process design, troubleshooting, startup/shutdown activities, capacity test runs, and detailed service reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (an advanced degree is preferred).
•Minimum of 15 years of total Utilities unit experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years hands-on in refinery utilities.
•Experience in water desalination and boilers for steam generation.
•Ability to optimize various utility systems and demonstrate performance improvements.
•In-depth knowledge of major equipment suppliers and package units for Utilities.
