Key Responsibilities

•Provide primary day-to-day legal support including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating government and commercial contracts and bid documents (RFPs/RFIs, teaming agreements, SOWs, amendments, licenses, distribution, subcontracts, NDAs)
•Advise on compliance with FAR/DFAR provisions and U.S. Federal Government data rights provisions
•Develop and oversee compliance programs and training initiatives for sales and related teams
•Support the sales organization to expand business while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
•Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting requirements, especially data rights provisions

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctorate (JD) and 4+ years of legal experience with U.S. Federal Government contracts
•Admitted to the bar in at least one state (California preferred) and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; must be a U.S. citizen
•Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government data rights provisions
•Excellent oral and written communication; ability to train and present to large groups
•Willingness to travel 10-25% and adapt to remote/hybrid work arrangements
