Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide primary day-to-day legal support including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating government and commercial contracts and bid documents (RFPs/RFIs, teaming agreements, SOWs, amendments, licenses, distribution, subcontracts, NDAs)
  • •Advise on compliance with FAR/DFAR provisions and U.S. Federal Government data rights provisions
  • •Develop and oversee compliance programs and training initiatives for sales and related teams
  • •Support the sales organization to expand business while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • •Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting requirements, especially data rights provisions

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctorate (JD) and 4+ years of legal experience with U.S. Federal Government contracts
  • •Admitted to the bar in at least one state (California preferred) and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; must be a U.S. citizen
  • •Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government data rights provisions
  • •Excellent oral and written communication; ability to train and present to large groups
  • •Willingness to travel 10-25% and adapt to remote/hybrid work arrangements
