Key Responsibilities

  • •Build goal-oriented infrastructure AI agents on the Quartermaster platform for SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows including incident investigation/remediation and infrastructure provisioning.
  • •Design agent architectures for safety and reliability, including planning/reasoning loops, tool-use, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop escalation.
  • •Integrate agents with infrastructure tooling such as Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, monitoring/observability platforms, databases, and CI/CD pipelines via tool interfaces.
  • •Evaluate and improve agent performance by defining effectiveness metrics and building evaluation frameworks.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering to identify high-value workflows for agent automation and translate operational pain points into agent capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
  • •Practical cloud and infrastructure knowledge with AWS, GCP, or Aliyun; Kubernetes; Terraform; and CI/CD systems.
  • •Strong system design skills to architect reliable, safe, and scalable agent systems that interact with production infrastructure.
  • •Ability to build autonomous agent systems that plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks using LLMs (agent loop design, tool-use orchestration, managing agent state and memory).
  • •Excellent communication and collaboration skills working cross-functionally in a global environment.
