Job Summary

Join Deako as an Electrical Engineer to design and implement embedded firmware for lighting control systems. You’ll work across firmware, sensing algorithms, PCBA design, and manufacturing support, collaborating with electricians and DIY customers. Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers using C and Eclipse-based IDEs.
•Develop sensing algorithms and analog/digital signal conditioning for robust operation in real-world environments.
•Architect low-cost communication protocols for interconnected light switch networks and manage integration with data analytics infrastructure.
•Collaborate with PCB vendors, contract manufacturers, and internal teams to support rapid prototyping, design-for-manufacturing, and on-site/remote manufacturing testing.
•Produce technical documentation, perform testing/validation, and contribute to FMEA and risk analyses.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,750 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related; plus 3 years in Embedded Systems Development for Lighting and Appliance Controls
•Proficiency in real-time embedded development using C
•Experience in design, analysis, simulation, testing and debugging of analog and digital circuits
•Experience with firmware development for microcontrollers (Atmel and STM32)
•Experience in schematics/PCB layout and EMI/EMC issue troubleshooting
