Job Summary

Generate and expand client relationships by providing expert merchant payment solutions to business and middle-market clients valued at $3–$50 million. Partner with business bankers to identify new sales opportunities, coach partners, prospect and manage leads through CRM, and present and close deals. Collaborate across bank units for cross-selling, resolve client concerns, deliver merchant education, and consistently exceed daily and weekly targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients, converting leads into partnerships.
•Sell merchant payment solutions including card networks and services (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, ACH) and navigate hardware/software needs.
•Build sales pipeline, convert leads, close deals, and exceed daily and weekly targets.
•Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize client profitability.
•Report leads/opportunities/status in the CRM and use dashboards/reports to understand sales behavior trends.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•At least 4 years of proven sales experience in financial services with the ability to close deals and achieve targets.
•Experience in merchant services sales in the $3–$50 million space (preferred: 2–5 years).
•Previous sales expertise in the business/middle market space from $3–$50 million (preferred).
•Thorough knowledge of software programs including Word and Excel, with the ability to learn additional systems/software; proficiency in Salesforce (preferred).
