Job Summary

Design and architect complex embedded software solutions while acting as a subject matter expert and driving technical excellence. Work with designers, developers, program managers, testers, and information development teams to define product and system requirements, estimate work from product owner use cases, and deliver high-quality outcomes within Agile sprints. Own product accountability, perform code reviews, unit/integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for test failures.

•Collaborate with stakeholders (designers, developers, program managers, testers, and information development) to define requirements at product and system level.
•Understand the software development life cycle and collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
•Translate use case stories from product owners into development task estimates with high accuracy.
•Complete sprint tasks including development, unit tests, and integration tests.
•Deliver high-quality outputs through code reviews, unit/integration test automation, and troubleshoot test failures with root-cause analysis and debugging.

Key Requirements

•Have a Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering degree with at least 9 years of experience in product development for industrial and automation products.
•Deep knowledge and experience in C, C++, and Assembly language.
•Experience writing complex algorithms, multi-threaded applications, and device drivers; familiarity with communication protocols.
•Experience with real-time operating systems (preferred: Linux) and strong debugging/troubleshooting using GNU Debugger.
•Agile software development knowledge, strong interpersonal/communication skills, and ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
