Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake advocacy, drafting, and advisory work including pleadings, Stage 3 hearings, interlocutory hearings, and small claims trials.
  • •Assist more senior team members in delivering advocacy and related work.
  • •Support delivery of advocacy and litigation training/updates for fee earners.
  • •Provide advocacy, advisory, and drafting services to Keoghs LLP.
  • •Assist in development of the in-house advocacy team and undertake client-facing/product development tasks as required.

Key Requirements

  • •If Barrister: full practising certificate.
  • •If Solicitor: Higher Rights of Audience or the ability to demonstrate related experience, plus enthusiasm to develop an advocacy career.
  • •NQ through up to 8 years call or PQE.
  • •Experience in insurance fraud; general PI; and EL/PL and/or professional negligence is an advantage.
  • •Strong A-Levels and a degree.
