Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose equipment issues by pulling data from many makes/models.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and perform repairs as needed.
  • •Travel to customer job sites when required to perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/know schematics.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
