Job Summary

Electrical Engineer to design and deliver water and wastewater electrical systems across multiple offices in the North and Midlands (Birmingham, Chesterfield, Leeds, Manchester). You’ll manage electrical design from load schedules to PLC/SCADA, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, support bids, and ensure project delivery within budgets and standards in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage all aspects of electrical design for Water and Wastewater Treatment and Infrastructure projects, including load schedules, single line diagrams, MCC general arrangements, instrument schedules, electrical installation and cable calculations, PLC/SCADA systems, control philosophy, URS, specifications and technical reports, and input to P&ID’s and site surveys.
•Engage in all design stages (Feasibility to Construction Design) ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
•Work closely with other discipline teams locally and nationwide to deliver high-quality technical solutions and communicate with clients throughout design and planning phases.
•Contribute to bids and proposals, interfacing with clients to understand needs and expectations.
•Ensure delivery of quality designs within budgets and timelines, supporting clients across the Water sector.
