Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to sprint events and agile planning, refinements, retrospectives, and demos using technical expertise.
  • •Develop IT products, including unit testing, and perform design/build/test for functional, performance, resilience, and security requirements.
  • •Implement lifecycle management for backend IT products, including decommissioning, and improve continuous delivery processes.
  • •Resolve incidents and problems for managed IT products, including stack troubleshooting, and support environment setup and deployments.
  • •Collaborate with designers, SMEs, and product owners to ensure clear acceptance criteria and maintain traceability of testing activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a backend developer using common languages and frameworks such as Java Spring Boot and NodeJS, plus functional programming in Scala.
  • •Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and engineering principles such as SOLID.
  • •Significant experience building RESTful API services and performance tuning for large-scale applications.
  • •Experience with database systems including SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase).
  • •Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests using TDD and test automation approaches.
