Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the infrastructure strategy and roadmap across cloud infrastructure, reliability, deployment, observability, security, cost, and developer experience.
  • •Lead teams owning shared foundations: GCP projects and clusters, Kubernetes, networking, service discovery, routing, gateways, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
  • •Define and execute the Platform vs SRE operating model, including standards and incident support that help product teams run services confidently.
  • •Raise production reliability and on-call readiness by improving dashboards, alert severity, paging standards, service ownership, and incident response.
  • •Own cloud cost discipline and shape longer-term architecture for multi-region scale, disaster recovery, and data residency while aligning with trust requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Led Infrastructure, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Developer Platform teams in a scaling SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, API, data, or developer-tools company.
  • •Operated multi-region, high-request-volume systems with strict uptime expectations, large cloud bills, customer-facing incidents, and trust requirements.
  • •Built or ran production platforms with Kubernetes and GCP or AWS, using Terraform (or similar) and covering service discovery, networking, API gateways, CDNs, observability, CI/CD, and incident response.
  • •Can debate architecture with senior infrastructure engineers and make timely decisions when tradeoffs matter.
  • •Managed managers or senior technical leads and can coach, set the bar, and step in directly when needed.
