Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times for testing and troubleshoot installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex wiring harness work.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems (without a custom keypad/controller) and integrate communication between the keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information and developing alternative solutions as needed.
  • •Travel to client sites or other rental yards in the region for installation cases; occasionally work outside business hours and weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and install/repair devices.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, 12V technician).
  • •Open to traveling within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
  • •Ability to drive and perform physical tasks (maneuver in tight spaces, bend, squat, walk long distances, and lift 25+ lb), plus pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
