Job Summary

Senior-level aerospace certification engineer responsible for systemic and software/AEH design assurance across Archer internal development and suppliers. Leads ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-178C/DO-254 compliance activities, interfaces with FAA DERs, and drives continuous process improvements in safety-critical software and hardware assurance.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as SME for System, Software and AEH Design Assurance processes for Archer development and for Suppliers.
•Review and approve Software/AEH life-cycle data for Archer and suppliers.
•Execute System Design Assurance Reviews for Archer internal system development, ensuring ARP4754A/ARP4761 compliance and supporting FAA reviews.
•Conduct Supplier Oversight and Design Assurance Reviews for Systems, Software and AEH in line with ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-178C, and DO-254.
•Support generation and independent reviews of Archer System, Software and AEH development and verification processes.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in System and Software/AEH Design Assurance activities for aerospace standards.
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
•Experience with full lifecycle safety-critical systems and design assurance standards (ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-254, DO-178C) and supplements.
•Experience with multiple systems and software/AEH environments and tools.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
