Key Responsibilities

  • •Build display libraries (oligo pools, combinatorial assembly, barcoding) and troubleshoot failed campaigns.
  • •Run selections end to end, including deciding whether rounds enriched real binders or only fast growers.
  • •Select the right display platform per campaign and stand it up based on library and target.
  • •Own sequencing analysis and enable iteration without depending on a bioinformatics queue.
  • •Hand off protocols to automation by ensuring they only work when personally run are not left unfinished; close the loop using BLI and SPR results.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc or PhD in a relevant field, plus 3+ years running display and selection yourself.
  • •You have set up a display platform (not just used one): built the library, got the selection working, and produced binders validated in an independent assay.
  • •Depth in at least one display format, with working literacy across other formats.
  • •High-diversity cloning with an understanding of where bias enters a pool and the downstream cost.
  • •NGS as a routine tool and FACS if you have it; enough Python or R to analyze your own data (not waiting on others).
