Job Summary

Provide daily finance support for a project within tight deadlines, including monthly project cost reporting and analysis, month-end close, cash flow tracking and forecasting, and vendor payment management. Own forecasting and variance analysis, prepare charge-outs and earned value journal entries in SAP, reconcile GL lead sheets, maintain PMWeb/SAP consistency, and review/approve contract drafts, requisitions, and invoices while improving reporting through automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete monthly project cost reporting and analysis, work with project managers on cost expectations, and present finance information to executive and non-executive audiences.
•Support month-end close by preparing project status and accrual reports, posting charge-outs and earned value journal entries in SAP, and reconciling G/L lead sheets.
•Forecast cash flow routinely (monthly, quarterly, annually, project life) and perform projection-to-actual variance analysis with risks and opportunities.
•Maintain PMWeb to align with SAP and recommend enhancements to software and close procedures.
•Review and approve contract drafts, purchase requisitions, and invoices/payment applications; research and resolve vendor payment issues and support vendor bid and award processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Mathematics.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
•Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
•Experience with forecasting and basic budgeting, analytical thinking, and accounting research.
•Ability to collaborate with the project team; previous construction experience preferred.
