Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment including electrical, brake, cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions; road test vehicles to verify proper operation.
  • •Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document work and findings on repair orders (RO), uploading pictures and DOT forms, while maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or equivalent combination).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months.
  • •Must successfully complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a DOT medical card with >4 months remaining).
  • •Must be at least 21 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license; maintain a Driver Qualification File.
