Key Responsibilities

  • •Work independently using established civil engineering knowledge and best practices to provide meaningful input to the design process.
  • •Take technical responsibility for project phases/components and lead workflow coordination as needed.
  • •Collaborate with engineers of multiple disciplines throughout the iterative design process.
  • •Gather and correlate basic engineering data and support detailed/routine engineering assignments involving calculations and tests.
  • •Support the CAD Lead in maintaining CAD standards, best practices, and processes for modelling, content creation, and advanced digital developments.

Key Requirements

  • •Certified minimum of an HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
  • •Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D, providing Civil 3D modelling support to engineering teams.
  • •Familiarity with other 3D modelling software such as Autodesk ReCap and Revit, including validating and coordinating models in Navisworks (or similar).
  • •Experience working in a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise and/or Autodesk Construction.
  • •Experience supporting CAD standards, best practices, and processes for modelling and content creation.
