Data Engineer

Architect scalable, governed data pipelines, semantic models, and end-to-end BI solutions for Visa’s Finance Technology Data Intelligence organization. Build batch/streaming pipelines across Lake/Lakehouse using SQL, Hive, and PySpark, and deliver self-service analytics with dimensional models, DAX, and row-level security. Operationalize production GenAI (RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails) on compliant datasets, while enabling CI/CD, observability, and risk/governance through robust documentation and automation.
