Job Summary

Support the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program by collecting, verifying, validating, analyzing, reporting, and maintaining customer and transaction information to ensure timely and accurate Currency Transaction Report (CTR) filings for cash transactions over $10,000. Analyze CTR alerts and transaction reports, identify potentially suspicious activity (including structuring), escalate for SAR consideration, and assist with CTR exempt designations and DOEP reviews while staying current on regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze CTR alerts from the anti-money laundering monitoring system and daily transaction reports to detect potentially reportable activity.
•Ensure timely, accurate, and complete CTR filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Review customer and transaction activity to identify potentially suspicious activity (including structuring) and escalate for possible SAR consideration when appropriate.
•Recommend CTR exempt designations and assist with the preparation and filing of Designations of Exempt Persons (DOEP), including periodic reviews.
•Correspond with branch personnel to resolve discrepancies and obtain required or supplemental information; complete annual BSA/AML and compliance training.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum of one year of BSA banking experience, including branch/platform experience and knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulatory requirements.
•Working knowledge of BSA, AML, and other AML regulatory policies, with the ability to apply regulatory concepts and explain findings and decisions.
•Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
•Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
