Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Environmental Department with permit compliance, including collection, recording, maintenance, interpretation, and presentation of sampling/monitoring data.
  • •Collect, preserve, and transport samples (water, soil, air) and conduct in-field (and limited laboratory) analyses.
  • •Calibrate, operate, and maintain sampling and laboratory equipment and maintain monitoring programs for water quality and regulatory compliance.
  • •Conduct periodic environmental audits of facilities and respond safely to potentially non-compliant conditions.
  • •Perform water level measurements across monitoring wells, upload data for gradient analysis/cone of depression determinations, and support monitoring program scheduling including equipment calibration and maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree related to environmental management (preferred) or five years of equivalent work experience with completion of high school.
  • •Experience or extended education in chemistry and/or environmental regulations.
  • •Technical understanding of environmental sampling protocols and analytical methodology (preferred).
  • •Water quality sampling experience is a plus.
  • •Proficiency communicating effectively in writing and presentations, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
