Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead manufacturing and production optimization initiatives for several high-profile products from early-stage development through mass production and sustaining engineering phases.
  • •Build and maintain positive working relationships between technical teams, contract manufacturing partners and business/product owners to deliver on strategic product development and sustaining initiatives.
  • •Review production processes, schedules, methods and data to provide justified recommendations for improving manufacturing processes and throughputs.
  • •Identify cost reduction opportunities by analyzing labor, material and other production costs and drive efficiencies.
  • •Champion color variation, limited editions and sustaining engineering efforts to promote PlayStation product lines.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering related fields preferred.
  • •7+ years of validated experience in product development or manufacturing related roles with a strong background of supporting the development of new consumer electronic devices.
  • •Led overseas manufacturing partners in planning and performing development builds and new product development stages.
  • •Capable of leading development schedules, production planning and materials readiness efforts to meet product development landmarks.
  • •Proficient with multiple software platforms such as MS Office, Confluence, Jira.
