Key Responsibilities

  • •Interface with Global Supply Base Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Base Management, and suppliers to ensure expected quality of products/piece parts.
  • •Represent Global Supply Base Quality Engineering on cross-functional teams to ensure new product releases meet on-time and quality expectations.
  • •Formulate, organize, and manage continuous improvement projects to improve supplier efficiency, reduce product complexity, enhance quality/reliability, and impact product cost.
  • •Manage supplier technology development aligned to Dell’s technology roadmap, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and closure of actions.
  • •Perform supplier audits and monitor supplier/product quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • •Strong people skills and the ability to facilitate strategic direction into meaningful actions.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •In-depth understanding of Engineering principles, preferably with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, or Process Engineering (Masters is a plus).
  • •Practical experience in Direct Liquid Cooling products.
