Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform overhaul, maintenance, and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW generators including installation/removal from fixed and mobile locations.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair AC systems, DC systems, and electronic control systems and program logic controls.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and Environmental Control Units (standalone units and trailer/vehicle-mounted).
  • •Maintain commercial power generation equipment including military-spec generators and UPS systems.
  • •Operate a load bank and dynometer during testing and fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent experience (BA/BS + 2 years; AA/AS + 4 years; or high school + 7 years).
  • •5+ years of related experience supporting generator and HVAC/mechanical maintenance.
  • •Extensive diesel engine rebuild and generator experience, including knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear.
  • •Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating and recharging refrigerant.
  • •Ability to meet role requirements including US citizenship, valid US driver’s license, and international driver’s permit (AAA), and to pass CRC to deploy.
