Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the key day-to-day client interface and ensure client objectives are met through cost management delivery.
  • •Produce cost estimates and final cost plans, including estimate and cost planning, and provide updates at design milestones.
  • •Review and coordinate with design services and general contractors to develop cost estimates; reconcile changes and support accurate contractor data.
  • •Lead change orders and negotiating pricing on behalf of the client, including valuations, cost checks, and support through post-contract cost variances and change control.
  • •Prepare written submissions and monthly cost reports for clients; negotiate and agree final accounts in a timely manner, and compile built cost estimate records for benchmarking.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or actively working toward RICS is preferred.
  • •Proven experience leading cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
